Ⅰ. Filtration method of fish pond filter

The simplest filtration method for fish ponds is divided into physical filtration and biological filtration: as the name suggests, physical filtration is to physically filter out impurities, leaves, fish feces, and water garbage in the water body. Biological filtration is mainly to cultivate beneficial bacteria and convert ammonia and nitrite, which are colorless and harmful substances dissolved in water, into less toxic nitrate.

Ⅱ. Fish pond filter filtration method:


The fish pond filter box is an artificially integrated filter, which mainly combines physical filtration and biological filtration in a filter tank. The filter tank is divided into several layers, and the upper layer of the filter tank is the physical filter layer, The main filter materials are filter cotton, biochemical cotton, and filter brush; and the following layers will be equipped with various filter materials such as biochemical balls, rattan cotton, glass rings, quartz balls, and bacteria houses.

Ⅲ. Bottom biological purification filter system


The bottom biological filtration system is composed of a network pipe, water pump, biological sand, and other biological and physical filtration systems. The network pipe and water pump circulate the water body and increase oxygen; the biological sand that is cultivated by microorganisms becomes a biological filter bed at the bottom of the pool. The organic matter in the water is sucked into the sand layer through the water pump pipe network system, and the microorganisms attached to the biological sand are decomposed and oxidized to produce volatile nitrogen and water. At the same time, autotrophic bacteria absorb sunlight to inhibit algae and eliminate the accumulation of substances that deteriorate water quality. Keep the water clear and translucent.

1. Advantages of bottom biological purification:

1.1. No filter tank is needed, saving space, only constant water level;
1.2. Only a small water pump is needed, which is not easy to break, low price, and easy to replace;
1.3. Short construction period (1-5 days);
1.4. The pool water has high clarity and achieves a clear bottoming effect;
1.5. There is no need to change the water within a few years, and it can be cleaned once a year or two without special maintenance.

2. Disadvantages of bottom biological purification:

2.1. The legal person cleaning cycle of the bottom purification system is 1 to 2 years, and manual sand washing is required;
2.2. The filtered fish manure and impurities are deposited in the sand layer, and it is difficult to clean the fish manure in the later stage;
2.3 After a long time, the sand layer is easy to harden, and the excrement is easy to produce nitrite in the sand layer;
2.4. The bottom biological purification pipeline is easy to be blocked.

3. Implementation process of bottom biological purification: laying pipes for circulating water

After laying the pipes with biological sand, connecting with a small submersible pump for circulating filtration, laying a barrier rubber net, and spreading river sand on the top, the solid waste will not have a good adsorption effect, which will affect the filtering effect of the fish pond.
